STUDIO CITY CELEBRATES TAIWAN’S ‘MANDO-POP’ SUPER IDOLS IN SPECTACULAR SHOWCASE OF CONCERTS

MACAU, Tuesday, September 29, 2015 – Nine Taiwan ‘Mando-Pop’ stars including Show Lo, JJ Lin, A-Lin and Hebe Tien are set to headline a spectacular showcase series of concerts this November at Studio City Event Center (“SCEC”), located at the new cinematically-themed entertainment and leisure destination resort in Macau: Studio City. Tickets are now on sales at the official website of Studio City.

Exclusively presented by SCEC, the ‘Taiwan Music Series’ is the world-class center’s first branded music series consisting of an electrifying ‘three-concert’ program featuring a line-up of top Taiwanese artistes and produced by renowned music producer Chen Cheng Chuang and his acclaimed production team.

‘I have produced many top concerts and awards ceremonies in my career, yet it is my first time to be invited to tailor-make a concert series with such a unique concept. As inspired by the ‘This is Entertainment’ vision of Studio City, I realize that my concert series for Studio City has to be a top quality entertainment production and a true musical journey for everyone. The first series, headlined by all-time favorite Show Lo, will be a music extravaganza with hot dance and music. The second, led by JJ Lin and A-Lin, will be a romantic feast for music lovers. The finale will be a signature concert with live band and featuring Yoga Lin and Hebe as the headliner,’ said Chen.

All-time favorite, Show Lo, kicks-off the concert series on November 14, 2015. The versatile Taiwanese hip-hop and R&B singer, actor and TV host - affectionately known by his Chinese nickname Xiao Zhu – stars in the top-Taiwan music-fest will be supported by rising icon, Calvin Chen and Taiwanese sweetheart, Amber An.

JJ Lin and A-Lin will take the stage jointly for the second performance of the series on November 21, 2015. Talented, multi-lingual singing-star, Taiwan-based Singaporean JJ Lin is a former Taiwan ‘Golden Melody Awards’ winner. He is joined by Taiwan’s “Born Diva” A-Lin, in a musical extravaganza supported by new talent, Aaron Yan.

The series finale on November 28, 2015 stars “Supernova Diva”, Hebe Tien. Tien released her first solo studio album “To Hebe” in 2010 and has enjoyed hit successes with singles “Insignificance,” “Love,” “The Most Important Thing in Life” and “Still in Happiness”. She will be joined by hot idol, Yoga Lin and former Taiwanese ‘One Million Star’, TV reality talent-show winner, Janice Yan.

The ‘Mando-stars’ expressed their delight at the opportunity to perform at Asia’s Entertainment Capital. “It will be my very first time to stage my concert in the ‘new’ Macau when Studio City opens! I’m truly excited to be performing at Studio City Event Center as I have heard about the uniqueness and exclusiveness of this world-class venue. I believe all music fans will be mesmerized by the state-of-the-art acoustics and the overall luxurious environment while enjoying this very special customized show,” said Show Lo.

“We’re very much looking forward to being part of this exciting Taiwan concert series and share the stage in this incredible new addition to Asia’s entertainment offering in Macau,” said JJ Lin and A-Lin. “Along with all my fellow artistes, I am thrilled that we have the opportunity to touch the heart and soul of all music lovers in Macau, at the brand-new resort Studio City,” said Hebe Tien. “It is such a privilege to be one of the first performers in the Studio City Event Center - I hope our fans are excited as we are!”

The Taiwan Music Series continues the SCEC’s inaugural season of the hottest concerts.
